MID NORTH COAST RESIDENTS HAVE THEIR SAY ON WATER FUTURE
Mid north coast residents have supported the use of recycled water, as a way of securing the region’s water supply.
A survey of more than 400 people carried out by Mid Coast Water found 95 per cent felt waste water should be utilised.
“So that means how we can re-use recycled water in terms of maybe on ah parks, gardens, golf courses and we’ve done some of that work in the past down on the Tuncurry Golf Course,” Acting General Manager Darryl Hancock said.
The feedback will assist Mid Coast Water in finding new ways to safeguard the region’s water supply for the next 30 years.
