And in Newcastle, veterans of the Vietnam War were joined by Navy, Army and Airforce cadets for a special Remembrance Day service in Newcastle.
“All the Vietnam Veterans are invited along to commemorate those 19 fellows from the Newcastle and Hunter region that paid the supreme sacrifice in South Vietnam.”
The event started with a march from Hunter Street…before a wreath-laying ceremony at City Hall.
