A protest against greyhound racing took place this afternoon on the Gosford Waterfront, one of many being held around the country today.
Around 100 people gathered to sign petitions against live baiting within the greyhound racing industry, as well as improving the animals’ general welfare.
Protestors were also concerned about the international export of the animals and over-breeding across the state.
The New South Wales State Government is due to release its report for the Inquiry into the Greyhound Racing Industry at the end of next month.
