MORE THAN 1,300 PEOPLE FORM HUMAN WHALE AT PORT STEPHENS

A giant of the sea breached in spectacular fashion at Port Stephens today.
It wasn’t at sea though – rather on the shore – with 1,308 people coming together to form a 100-metre long humpback whale at Fingal Bay.
As well as celebrating the annual whale migration, this year’s event saw an increased focus on marine conservation and education.
More than 30-thousand of the mammals are currently heading north on their annual migration.
