BUSINESSMAN KEVIN PARRY KILLED IN PERTH CAR CRASH

Former owner of NBN Television and one-time America’s Cup challenger, Kevin Parry, has been killed in a car crash in his home state of Western Australia.
The 77-year-old died when his four-wheel-drive rolled over.
The high profile businessman and entrepreneur, who made his fortune in the furniture game, burst onto the media scene in the 1980s when he acquired NBN Television.
Mr Parry also bankrolled an unsuccessful America’s Cup defence with Kookaburra III, and not long after, saw his business empire collapse in the 1987 stockmarket collapse.
