Hunter Street’s former Empire Hotel site is back on the market.
The property, owned by the Hunter Development Corporation, has been the target of several failed redevelopment bids over the years.
Just seven weeks ago plans for a 14 storey low-cost housing development were canned with proprietors unable to agree on contract terms.
The site is zoned for commercial use, a call for proposals will close in early October.
