The search is over, Nathan Brown will coach the Knights.
Club Chairman Brian McGuigan announcement on Thursday morning Brown will take the reins after the sacking of Rick Stone last month.
“This man (Brown) looks terrific to me and he does to the rest of the board,” McGuigan told Newcastle’s Radio 2HD.
“So we are all committed to having him on board. Next week, we’ll make it formal.
“We’ll be having an announcement ceremony and wishing him all the best for the future.”
The former Dragons mentor comes to the Knights from English Super League Club St Helens where he won a title, and four seasons at Huddersfield before that.
