Taree High School has taken home the gong for Engineering Excellence, at the TechnoPush Billycart Competition in Sydney.
More than 60 schools took part, each building and racing their own carts.
The event is a joint initiative between the NRMA and the Department of Education, designed to teach students about road safety and vehicle technology.
