A LITTLE BIT OF ITALY IN GUNNEDAH THIS WEEKEND
Gunnedah will turn into an Italian mecca this weekend for the seventh year, for the annual Porchetta Day.
Last year’s event drew a crowd of more than 6,000, but organisers are hoping for even more this time around.
10 food vendors will be set up, offering Italian cuisine, including pizza, pasta, sausages and gelato.
Chefs will also conduct cooking demonstrations and kids will have the chance to make their own bread.
The event will be held on Saturday at the Gunnedah Kennel Grounds.
