It was doggie’s day out in Tamworth today with hundreds of four-legged friends taking over Bicentennial Park for an annual gala day.
Pooches of all shapes, sizes and hairstyles attended the event, with prizes awarded to the best dressed and most vocal canine.
Awards were also given to the best dog handlers… and many were put through their paces at a dog agility course.
“Come on Daisy, come on…. Daisy come on… Yay, Good Girl!”
In its third year, the event also gave council the chance to share important information about responsible pet ownership.
