Children living with a disability will soon have their very own playground in Inverell.
Work is currently underway to expand the Victoria Park playground to include a touch sensory area.
The new additions will compliment a liberty swing, which was installed in the park last year.
Once the works are complete the park will be the first ‘all-inclusive’ playground in the Inverell Shire.
“Families that have children with autism and those disabilities can actually come here with the whole family now and they can all be involved and play in the play equipment.”
The new play equipment is expected to be completed in the next few weeks.
