JACOB SAIFITI KNOCKED OUT OUTSIDE NEWCASTLE PUB

Knights player Jacob Saifiti has been left with a broken leg after an incident at a Newcastle pub.

The 22-year-old got into an argument at the Greenroof Hotel in the early hours of Sunday morning, before being escorted from the venue by security.

Outside, he became involved in a physical altercation with Dane Cordner, the brother of Kangaroos captain Boyd.

During the fight, the Knights player was knocked out and fell awkwardly to the ground.

He was taken to hospital for treatment.
