Belmont’s Jason Doyle has warmed up for the Australian Speedway Grand Prix in Melbourne, by finishing second at the penultimate round in Poland.
Doyle qualified for his first final and was centimetres away from a maiden win.
“Goodness me, that’s a great ride … Nicki Pedersen.”
The result moves Doyle to fifth in his debut season.
