NORTH COAST DRIVERS DOMINATE FINAL KING EDWARD PARK HILLCLIMB

Kempsey’s Darren Read took out today’s Tri-Challenge as part of the Mattara Hillclimb at King Edward Park – just point three of a second in front of fellow mid north coast driver Dave Morrow.
Over the weekend, more than 130 competitors took part in the final running of the iconic event.
Newcastle Council’s Bathers Way project will reconfigure roads in the park, marking the end of the event’s 58 year history on the hill.
