Some of the best amateur golfers from across the Northern Rivers will hit the fairways in Ballina this weekend, vying for a share in $11,000.
The inaugural Ballina Classic has attracted a field of 210 golfers, including local club champion, Jay Crocker.
Professional golfer Craig Parry will be on hand to provide tips, and play a few holes on Sunday.
“He’s one of the most respected golfers on the Australian scene for some time, in excess of 30-years, great player and a great guy to boot”
The tournament tees off at 7:30 on Saturday morning.
