WEATHER: CLOUDY EAST OF THE DIVIDE BLUE SKIES TO THE WEST
PHOTO: Sent in by Peter Humphreys at Evans Head.
It’s a classic set up after a change comes through the onshore winds force the moist air in over the coast and a think layer of cloud develops over the eastern slopes breaking up the further you travel inland over the ranges until you reach the other side where it’s nothing but blue skies for the NW and Plains. The blanket of cloud over the Greater Hunter, Central Coast and Mid North Coast will break up tomorrow and things will start to warm up. There will be a few isolated showers lingering over the Northern Rivers and SE while the western slopes and plains will remain dry and mostly sunny.
