To celebrate its calendar of courses for 2016, the Pumphouse School of Design in Newcastle will unveil “the Kraken.”
It’s 22 kilograms of Callebaut Belgium chocolate moulded into a 1.2 metre high masterpiece depicting a huge squid like sea creature.
It was created by Hunter chocolatier Dean Gibson.
The good news it’s not just about art, the creation will be melted under lights into a giant chocolate fondue on Friday afternoon.
The Pumphouse School of design at Wickham offers courses in traditional and digital design marketing and creative thinking.
