A 76-year-old pilot escaped serious injury when strong wind caused his light plane to flip onto its roof during landing north of Coffs Harbour.
Emergency services arrived at the Johnsons Road property at Sandy Beach just after 2pm, with the man still trapped inside.
He was taken to Coffs Harbour Hospital suffering cuts to his head and body and a possible skull fracture.
