AAREN RUSSELL WINS GOLD COAST UTE SERIES ON DEBUT

Newcastle driver Aaren Russell has stunned his rivals by winning the V8 Ute Series on the Gold Coast.
Following his first appearance in a Supercar at Bathurst, Russell was offered a wildcard for the ute event on the glitter strip.
Making his series debut, Russell pushed his car to the limit, finishing fourth, third and first over the three races.
