Federal Health Minister, Tanya Plibersek dropped in to Ballina today to officially open the new North Coast New South Wales Medicare Local.
It’s one of 61 centres across the State.
“I just want to really say congratulations to all of you who have been involved in the establishment of this terrific organisation and I wish you all the best in the future. Thanks.”
The Health Minister also plans to visit other hospitals in the region during her visit including Lismore Base Hospital and Casino and District Hospitals.
