The winner of Rally Australia in Coffs Harbour last month, World Champion Sebastien Ogier has crashed out of the Spanish rally in dramatic fashion.
The French ace had a 50 second lead near the finish when he slammed into a steel barrier.
The mishap allowed Andreas Mikkelsen to score a maiden victory in the world championships.
“Ogier’s just crashed in the power stage you win this, Really ? You have won your first ever world rally,” says the rally announcer.
