MAN CHARGED WITH POSSESSING COUNTERFEIT MONEY
A 20-year-old man has been charged after allegedly possessing a counterfeit currency on the Central Coast.
The man was arrested at a house on the Pacific Highway at Narara, just after 9.30am yesterday, following weeks of investigation into counterfeit notes in the area.
During a search of the house police located and seized the fake notes, along with items believed to be used in its manufacture.
Methylamphetamine ‘ICE’ and suspected stolen property was also found.
The man was refused bail and will face Gosford Court today.
