LOCAL POLICE RECOGNIZED DURING AWARD CEREMONY
The contribution of Police from the Manning Great Lakes was celebrated in Taree today, with an official awards ceremony.
Superintendent Peter Thurtell took the opportunity to recognise the challenges faced by officers in fighting terrorism and drug related crimes.
“The New South Wales Police Force will soon be introducing an act to arm defender training to improve the skills of our officers and improve their ability to face the risk modern day policing poses to our officers,” Supt. Thurtell said.
More than 40 local officers were recognised for their service to the force.
