Tamworth faced a tough Country Cup cricket match tomorrow, travelling to the Hunter Valley to take on Maitland.
A powerful side has been named, with New South Wales Country regular Tom Groth to captain the team from behind the stumps, and teenager Will Chesterfield will be the number one spinner.
The Blues will be hoping for a stronger performance than last season, where they were knocked out of the competition at the same stage.
