Gold Coast’s tireless fire fighters have been honoured in a special ceremony at Southport today.
Scott Beasley was just one officer recognised.
The Regional Rescue Co-ordinator was called out to the tragic Slacks Creek fire last year, where 11 people from the same family perished.
Others were honoured with national medals and ethical service awards.
