Plans for stage one of Gunnedah’s memorial pool renewal project have been finalised, with work scheduled to start next year.
It includes the construction of an olympic pool and children’s wet play area.
The existing 25 metre heated pool will get a makeover, as well as the pavilion.
Council has set aside $7.8 million for the project, making it one of the largest redevelopments undertaken by the body in half a century.
