REDDY & MARINERS PART WAYS
After two months of protracted negotiations, the Central Coast Mariners have parted ways with goal keeper, Liam Reddy.
The 34-year-old’s contract was terminated by mutual consent, after the club told him he was no longer needed in October. Reddy had been suspended by the club for disciplinary reasons.
The goalie has been linked to the Western Sydney Wanderers.
“I am extremely thankful to the Mariners fans for the support they have given me over the past two seasons,” said Reddy in a
statement released through Professional Footballers Australia.
“The fans deserve success and I hope they have it in the coming years. I would like to thank the PFA for the support they have given me over the past few weeks and I now look forward to getting back to playing and being at my best on the pitch.”
The Mariners are poised to sign former Bentleigh Greens gloveman, Alastair Bray.
