Tamworth Motorcycle Club has made history, as the first to host the New South Wales Solo Speedway titles indoors.
Racing got underway this afternoon at the AELEC, with practice and qualifying rounds.
With over 100 riders taking to the tight 170 metre track, their courage was put to the test.
Finals will go ahead tomorrow night, with sidecars to be the other main attraction, as former national champion Jason Hinton makes an appearance.
