A 40 year-old woman remains in a critical condition in Sydney’s Royal North Shore Hospital after an explosion at a Hunter Valley home late yesterday.
While investigations are continuing, it’s believed a gas bottle was being refilled at the home in Muswellbrook when the fire broke out.
A 52 year-old man also remains in the hospital’s burns unit in a stable condition.
The fire also damaged a neighbouring building, which is part of Muswellbrook Public School.
