Calls for a women’s nine a side rugby league competition on the Mid North Coast are gaining momentum.
The idea was first floated by Local League Development Officer, Kylie Hilder at last month’s Group Three annual general meeting.
While the response from many clubs was initially lukewarm, Hilder is confident the competition will go ahead, with a number of keen players recently registering expressions of interest.
