Scorcher weekend.
The dreaded hot NW winds are ready to whistle back in driving the temperatures into the high 30s and low 40 across the weekend. Bushfire dangers will rise ahead of the next change coming through on Tuesday for most of the region. Afternoon/evening showers and storm development will continue for northern NSW on Christmas Eve. Christmas Day should be mostly fine but there will be some isolated shower development for northern NSW and it will be quite warm. On Boxing Day a burst of wet weather is again expected to return especially for the coast.
