A 23-year-old autistic man was attacked in South Tamworth overnight.
Mathew Lenton was walking alone in Thompson Crescent when two men approached him just after seven o’clock.
Mr Lenton was listening to his iPod at the time and says he didn’t hear the men speaking to him. They then proceeded to attack him.
He suffered a broken nose and bruising.
Police are investigating.
