WEATHER WARNING ISSUED BY BUREAU OF METEOROLOGY

The Bureau of Meteorology has issued the following warning:

SEVERE THUNDERSTORM WARNING for HEAVY RAINFALL

For people in parts of the Mid North Coast, Hunter, Central West Slopes and Plains, Upper Western and Northern Tablelands Forecast Districts.

Issued at 5:04 pm Saturday, 26 December 2015.

Severe thunderstorms are likely to produce heavy rainfall that may lead to flash flooding in the warning area over the next several hours.

Locations which may be affected include Taree, Walgett, Dubbo, Parkes, Lightning Ridge and Brewarrina.
