GREAT NEW YEAR’S EVE BEFORE FIRST BIG RAIN OF 2016 ARRIVES

The weather is looking fantastic for tonight’s celebrations. Only the Gold Coast and the far NE corner of NSW will experience stronger SE winds with some cloud. Most of the small showers are passing by just offshore.

Tomorrow is looking great but early next week the monsoon low will begin to move in across the region and widespread rain is on the way with the potential for some heavy falls. Flooding may occur from the develop system.
