McCARTHY STABLE DOMINATES INTER CITY PACE

The McCarthy stable has dominated the 53rd Inter City Pace at Maitland, with pre race favourite, Kept Under Wraps, claiming one of the most comfortable wins in the event’s history.
“But McCarthy has said ta da on the side. It’s like a lear jet down the side. It’s raced five or six in front.”
Hunter trainer Shane Tritton was looking for his first win in the race with My Chachingchaching, but it was a fellow Kiwi-bred runner who got the prize.
“Kept Under Wraps, look at it go, down to the wire and he’s barely moved on it. It’s won it by 8 lengths.”
