OLD WARBIRDS THE HIGHLIGHT OF SCONE AIRSHOW

A historic World War II Hawker Hurricane aircraft will take centre stage at an airshow in Scone tomorrow.
Restored by Pays Air Services at Scone, the restored fighter also commemorates the life of Newcastle pilot John Dallas Crossman, who was killed when his Hurricane was shot-down during the Battle of Britain in 1940. Crossman was just 21-years-old.
The Hurricane will be joined by other warbirds such as a Spitfire and Mustang.
Proceeds from the airshow will be donated to the Westpac Rescue Helicopter .
