WEATHER: EAST COAST LOW READY TO MOVE ON

The final rain band is currently clearing from the Hunter as the low begins to pull away from the coast.

This is still producing heavy rain and falling over areas that are saturated, exacerbating the flooding situation.

Large, dangerous seas and swell will hammer the coast, which has a lot of storm water runoff making the beaches very dangerous along the Hunter’s coast.

The weather will continue to improve as we move towards the weekend.
