Police and WorkCover are investigating a fatal accident on a residential renovation site in Newcastle.
Paramedics responded to a triple-zero call this morning, after a worker fell from scaffolding at a cottage on Lewis Street at Maryville.
The man, aged in his 70s, was unable to be revived and died at the scene.
