The National Servicemen’s Tamworth branch received a visit from local paramedic Ray Tait today, to review CPR procedures.
Its headquarters at the South Tamworth Bowling Club has access to a defibrillator, and its correct use in an emergency could mean the difference between life and death.
The group wanted to brush-up on their knowledge because of the heatwave that hit the city this week, and to prepare for increased numbers at the venue during the festival.
