BAGGY BLUES MATCH DEEMED HUGE SUCCESS

Yesterday’s Baggy Blues 20/20 match in Port Macquarie wasn’t short of big hits – first at the crease, John Patrick’s 11 proved they meant business nabbing 180 runs.

Impressive skills kept both the crowd and baggy blues ambassadors entertained.

While Westport Club started at a steady rate- at 12 overs down they were in a lot of trouble.

A resurgence at the closing stages of the game saw an exciting finish, Westport going down by just six runs.

It’s hoped the event will make a return to Port Macquarie next year.
