WEATHER: COOLING DOWN ACROSS THE REGION

It will be a much cooler start to the weekend thanks to a strong southerly change and associated rain band making its way across the region today. The Hunter has endured more rain and combined total catchment levels are at an all time high. Over the weekend the SE winds will continue but they will ease. An isolate shower or two will roll in along the coast. Inland west of the Divide will be fine with increased sunshine in the coming days.
