After decades of discussion, the long-awaited new Stingray Creek Bridge at North Haven has been officially opened.
More than 2000 community members enjoyed their first walk across the bridge, before the northbound lane was opened to traffic.
The $26-million project will provide a safer crossing for road users and pedestrians.
