The Joint Regional Planning Panel has approved a major redevelopment of the Singleton saleyards.
The $6-million overhaul, which is being funded under the state government’s Resources for Regions program, will include installing a roof over part of the facility and adding a soft, rubber flooring.
Singleton Council is planning to call for detailed design and construction tenders next month.
