The Mid North Coast cricket premier league is a step closer to becoming reality, with Macleay Valley now supporting the idea.
The proposal would see the Macleay, Hastings and Manning associations merge their weekly first-grade competitions.
Macleay was originally concerned about players having to travel to Taree.
But to make it easier, the two sides would meet somewhere in the middle – in either Port Macquarie or Wauchope.
