Two Jetstar planes were diverted to Newcastle Airport along with an Air New Zealand flight, due to heavy fog in Sydney this morning.
The one from Auckland touched down just before nine o’clock, using the opportunity to refuel.
Its stay on the tarmac was only brief, with the delay for passengers lasting around an hour before it was back on its way south.
There were no disruptions to flights locally.
