Tamworth Dramatic Society will return to the stage for the first time in over a year, tomorrow night.
An all-female cast will present ‘Steel Magnolias’ – a play set in a hair salon in 1980’s Louisiana.
Director, Geraldine Cutmore, says the show was supposed to open in 2020, but the pandemic put plans on hold.
“Very much a girl power, very strong women on stage, very strong woman directing them… ha ha ha!”
‘Steel Magnolias’ runs from tomorrow until May 15, at the Capitol Theatre.
