AGL PLEADS GUILTY TO CHARGES

AGL has pleaded guilty to breaking political disclosure laws following an investigation led by the Environmental defenders office.
It comes after members of Groundswell Gloucester raised concerns about the transparency of political gifts given to the Liberal and Labour parties of New South Wales.
The news is an added bonus for anti-CSG activists, after the mining giant announced they would abandon a proposed development in the Gloucester Valley.
AGL faces 11 charges and is expected to be sentenced in June.
