AGL’s plan for a $2 million legacy fund for the Gloucester community has received a mixed response from locals.
It follows the miner’s decision to withdraw from a proposed CSG development near the small town.

M Johnson has the ability to control the Fund by selecting persons that he sees as suitable. He will also be on that committee which extends his influence. He has lobbied for Dungog not to merge with Maitland and Gloucester not to merge with Great Lakes. A neutral community representative eg Council and AGL representative should select the Committee members of the fund. I do not think that he has best interests of Gloucester in mind.
