CENTRAL COAST WOMAN CHARGED FOR ALLEGEDLY DRINK DRIVING FOUR TIMES OVER LEGAL LIMIT

A 54-year-old woman has been charged with high range drink driving, after she allegedly returned a blood-alcohol reading more than four-times the legal limit on the Central Coast.

Around 9:30am yesterday, she was refused service at a number of bottle shops, before her car was pulled over by police on Main Road at Toukley for a roadside breath test.

Police say she returned a positive result and was taken to Toukely Police Station, where further testing allegedly revealed a reading of 0.280.

The woman is due to face Wyong Local Court on March 14.

Police have also suspended her licence.
