Fijian side Savuiqali has taken out the Lake Macquarie Sevens over Brisbane outfit Tribe.
In the Plate Final, Lake Macquarie scored a narrow win over Sydney club Menai.
While in the women’s, invitational side Tribe were victorious over the greater Sydney Rams.
Tribe were in search of points late in the match, and found them with some quick thinking from a penalty awarded only 20 metres out.
It wouldn’t be enough, the Fijian’s backing up their solid performance from last week’s Hamilton Sevens to take $5,000 winners cheque in style.
